Pumped

So pumped to watch the Blues. Hopefully we won't let the series end up as a 3-0 like last years. Bring it home boys!

The Team

Ricky Staurt (the NSW Blues coach) says that his team looks great so far. He is getting around with a spring in his step, his challenge to renew some confidence in Blues fans.

The team have been traing well in Coogee. Michael Ennis and Paul Gallen said the team has been focusing on what they have to do on the field and not really focusing on QLD. NSW lost all 3 games last year and need redemption and Ricky Stuart knows that he has the team to do it! The team is:
Josh Dugan
Michael Jennings
Mark Gasnier
Brett Morris
Akuila Uate
Jaimie Soward
Mitchell Pearce
Jason King
Michael Ennis
Kade Snowden
Greg Bird
Beau Scott
Paul Gallen (c)
Ben Creagh
Trent Merrin
Tim Mannah
Dean Young
Jamal Idris has been named 18th man

A strong team to take on a big challenge!

6 More Sleeps!

Only six more sleeps until the Blues take on the Maroons. This weekend the players arn't playing for their clubs incase of injury! The teams looking good and their task won't be as big seeing as Justin Hodges is injured.

With the teams set to face each other, and everyone exited the game should open very physical. A lot of eyes will be set on the halves and fullback for NSW, with Jarryd Hayne saying he should of been picked and will lift his game Dugan needs to perform. Now with Todd Carney back some people are wondering if he plays a few good games why he can't be put in? In my opinion the Dally M medalist of 2010 might be picked for the 2nd or 3rd game depending on how Soward performs.

I can't wait and I'm sure many fans feel the same way!

Blues 2011

Solid side picked for game 1. The blues new coach Ricky Stuart should be capable of coaching the first New South Wales side to win State of Origin in 5 years.
The new captain Paul Gallen is a solid player that will lead them well in a team with great defenders like himself and Greg Bird, attacking flaire and brilliance with Jamie Soward, Michael Jennings, Mark Gasnier and Josh Dugan with Mitchell Pearce controlling the middle brilliantly like always. The team is the strongest I've seen since 05 when they last won.

Good luck boys.
